HOLLOWSCENE

The goal of the research project is to investigate digitization and synthesis as cognitive prostheses of the human body. Questioning how we extend our selves through technology, “post-evolutionary” strategies envision body-machine symbioses that confront the body’s obsolescence. Technology acts as an offshoot of biology, redesigning the body, redefining what is human through human-machine interface. The work manifests this by integrating components that restructure and expand the physical and mental architecture of the body.
